Anchor to other pdf's without loosing the website menu

When linking to other pdf's from e.g. https://02323.compute.dtu.dk/enotes/chapter2-ProbabilitySimulation it will open the new pdf without the website wrapped around it.

Would it e.g. be possible to have nginx rewrite pdf links, but where anchors inside the pdf's are preserved?

Example: chapter2-ProbabilitySimulation might link to e.g. an equation in another pdf, and clicking on this link should take the user to the other pdf and just to the anchor point.
