# Guide for running the padding notebook on the QIM platform
Start by copying the folder located at `/dtu/3d-imaging-center/QIM/notebooks/reconstruction/padding/` on the HPC to your preferred working directory, let us refor to it as `/path/to/workdir`.
Here are step-by-step actions for setting up the Jupyter launcher (see image further down as well):
1. Go to: https://platform.qim.dk/tools/jupyter-launcher
1. Tick the **Show detailed configuration** box.
1. Under **Root directory**, enter the path:
